قناة الفجر 2 هي أول قناة فضائية متخصصة في تلاوات القرآن الكريم وعلومه وفنونه. بدأت البث الرسمي في 2 رمضان 1425هـ الموافق 16/10/2004م وتعتمد على التنوع الثري لمادة القرآن الكريم من تلاوات وعلوم وفنون، فتعرض القناة مثلاً في باب التلاوات: قراءَات لمشاهير القراء والأصوات المتميزة إضافة إلى الأصوات الناشئة وأصوات البراعم ليتكون لجماهير المسلمين ولأول مرة مصحف مرئي. كما تعتني القناة بنشر أحكام القرآن بأسلوب علمي مبسط جمع بين تقنية الجرافيكس المتميزة وأسلوب العرض الترفيهي، كأمثال القرآن وأسباب النزول والآيات الكونية والعلمية. و من أبرز برامج القناة هو برنامج كرتون أحكام القرآن والذي تم إعداده بواسطة الرسوم المتحركة لتقريب الأحكام للصغار قبل الكبار. كما تعرض القناة سلسلة من الأفلام الوثائقية المتميزة كتاريخ الكتابة على الألواح والمخطوطات وتاريخ كتابة القرآن، وغير ذلك من البرامج التي تثري معلومات المشاهد وتقرب إليه المعلومة والحكم الشرعي. والقناة يديرها الشيخ / وجدي الغزاوي وتم اقفال القناة بسبب الإفلاس المالية ولما عرضه شيخها وجدي العزاوي من برامج تهاجم السلطة السعودية في رمضان عام 1432هـ في برنامج ( فضفضة ).
